Abstract: Personel medyczny to podstawowy element systemu ochrony zdrowia. Organizacja systemu, w tym poziom i struktura zatrudnienia oraz profesjonalizm kadry medycznej są, obok czynników genetycznych, środowiskowych oraz stylu życia, istotnymi determinantami zdrowia społeczeństwa.
