“…This finding indicates that the PLGA/Ti 3 C 2 hybrid coating would have a larger hole due to the free volume expansion of PLGA when the temperature exceeded 48.5 °C [ 44 ]. Moreover, the increase in intermolecular gap weakened the anti-electrolyte permeability property of the coating [ 47 ].

“…With the NIR laser irradiation at 808 nm, the temperature of the hybrid coating exceeded the T g of PLGA. At this point, the increased movement of the polymer chains increased the free volume expansion of the PLGA/Ti 3 C 2 coating [ 47 ]. This phenomenon loosened the stacked Ti 3 C 2 nanosheets in the PLGA, and it increased the permeability of the coating to electrolytes.…”

“…In a similar way, we determined the amount of loaded ICG from the UV-Vis absorbance at 780 nm using a calibration curve obtained from a series of ICG solutions in TFE. The amount of encapsulated FITC-BSA was indirectly derived from that of the not encapsulated portion, which was determined by centrifuging the hollow NPs after the encapsulation process and collecting 1 mL of the colloid-free solution, as reported in a previous literature [22].…”
