We demonstrated earlier that surface-initiated ATRP grafting of low T g (−70 °C) poly­(2-ethylhexyl acrylate) brushes from poly­(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) substrates provided 2-fold improvement in dry adhesion of PDMS flat films and 6-fold when the underlying PDMS substrate was micropatterned .
