Polyoxometalate-based metal–organic framework-derived bimetallic hybrid materials for upgraded electrochemical reduction of nitrogen

Abstract: The development for high-efficiency noble-metal-free catalysts of electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR) to ammonia under ambient conditions has great significance in fertilizer production and energy storage. Considering a major role...

“…synthesized Fe‐Mo‐based‐POMOFs (FeMoO 4 /FeS 2 @C and Fe 1.89 Mo 4.11 O 7 /FeS 2 @C) as NRR electrocatalysts by utilizing PMo 12 @MIL‐100(Fe)@PVP as precursors through the hydrothermal sulfuration step by controlling the reaction temperature and time (Figure 12f). [ 199 ] Introducing polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) as a surfactant led to covering the Fe–Mo hybrid materials by graphitic carbon layers, which enhanced the conductivity and reduced the materials’ aggregation during the electrocatalytic reaction. Besides, increasing the proportion of PVP to 1.6 wt% in the case of Fe 1.89 Mo 4.11 O 7 /FeS 2 @C, augmented the ratio between D band (a disorder or defect peak) and G band (a graphitic peak) ( I D / I G ) to 0.78, which enhanced the microstructure disorder and further the NRR performance comparing to other electrocatalysts.…”

“…22 Wound healing stages and the processes that take place during it are very important as the rst important factor in the design and fabrication of wound dressings. [23][24][25][26][27] The human body is a complex and interesting machine in which various processes performed by cells are considered as its driving components. 28 The wound healing process is a great example of how tissues are repaired by different body systems along with wound care products.…”

“…With the growing environmental pollution problems and increasing global population, it is urgently necessary to look for sustainable development, environmentally friendly and economic strategies to solve hard problems. Exploring green energy is popular research area, because it will replace traditional fossil fuels, which cause serious environmental problems and a large amount of greenhouse gases [1–3] . As a novel energy storage device, supercapacitors (SCs) can convert chemical energy into convenient electrical energy, which is a very promising research direction.…”

[1][2][3] As a novel energy storage device, supercapacitors (SCs) can convert chemical energy into convenient electrical energy, which is a very promising research direction. Pseudocapacitors have more electrochemical behavior advantages than the electrochemical double-layer capacitor (EDLC), which not only undergoes charge adsorption reaction on their surface/near-surface, but also generate a fast, multi-electron and reversible faraday redox reactions.…”
