Abstract:The article studies and summarizes the experience of the latest rounds of population census in different countries concerning program, organizational and methodological issues; identifies their national specificity. Comparative analysis of data collection methods (traditional, registers, rolling census) applying results was carried out, including the possibility of their combined use according to the international and domestic experience.
