Português Para Surdos E as Tecnologias Digitais

Abstract

Palavras-chave : ensino de português como L2, português para surdos, tecnologias digitais.Este trabalho visa analisar atividades pedag ogicas propostas por Quadros and Schmiedt (2006) e relacionar a discussões sobre uso de tecnologias digitais no ensino de L ıngua Portuguesa para surdos. Temos como m etodo pesquisa bibliogr afica com selec ßão, leitura e an alise de artigos, peri odicos e livros referentes a utilizac ßão dos recursos tecnol ogicos digitais para ensinar L ıngua Portuguesa para surdos. E como principal componente analisamos duas sugestões de trabalhos pedag ogicos para ampliar e fixar conhecimento de palavras da L ıngua Portuguesa de forma l udica. A primeira, jogo de mem oria, favorece associac ßão de sinal em Libras ou imagem a verbete corresponde em L ıngua Portuguesa, aumentando vocabul ario da L ıngua Portuguesa e da Libras. A segunda, palavras cruzadas, possibilita fixac ßão do vocabul ario da primeira atividade, contribuindo para ampliac ßão deste vocabul ario. Conclu ımos neste estudo que ambas atividades utilizadas com tecnologias digitais auxiliam a aplicac ßão nas aulas, são instrumentos facilitadores do ensino de l ıngua portuguesa para surdos.Introduc ßão O português e a l ıngua da maioria dos brasileiros e deve ser ensinado para os surdos, conforme determina a Lei 10.436 de 24 de abril de 2002, que reconhece a Libras como l ıngua oficial da comunidade surda brasileira, e que no seu Art. 4°, Par agrafo unico diz que "a L ıngua Brasileira de Sinais -Libras não poder a substituir a modalidade escrita da l ıngua portuguesa" (BRASIL, 2002) Para que isso seja cumprido o ensino a l ıngua portuguesa como segunda l ıngua para indiv ıduos precisa ser realizado de forma a considerar a singularidade do sujeito surdo, mas ainda assim na maioria das escolas encontram-se dificuldades para realizar essa tarefa, conforme e a apontado por Quadros and Schmiedt (2006): (. . .) atualmente a aquisic ßão do português escrito por crianc ßas surdas ainda e baseada no ensino do português para crianc ßas ouvintes que adquirem o português falado. A crianc ßa surda e colocada em contato com a escrita do português para ser alfabetizada em português seguindo os mesmos passos e materiais utilizados nas escolas com as crianc ßas falantes de português. V arias tentativas de alfabetizar a crianc ßa surda por meio do português j a foram realizadas, desde a utilizac ßão de m etodos artificiais de estruturac ßão de linguagem at e o uso do português sinalizado (p.23).Levando em considerac ßão essas dificuldades, este trabalho surgiu a partir da seguinte inquietac ßão: que pr aticas de leitura e escrita da l ıngua portuguesa vem sendo desenvolvidas com alunos surdos?
