“…The Cu concentrations in the oyster of all ports were found to be higher than the USEPA (provisional tolerable intake) 53 standard (0.05 mg/kg) and FAO standard quality guidelines for bivalve mollusks (20 mg/kg) 51 . The highest concentration of Cu was detected at port Yamba (61 mg/kg), which is significantly above the standards and is identified as unsafe food 54 .
