The focus of this study is a systematic review of published information to identify and characterize scenarios and hazards in the future of work. “…In a precarious work, the labor risks represent a major disadvantage due to not providing adequate training to workers on the various processes, this generates that the perception of risk by workers is zero and therefore do not follow specific protective measurements for the use of tools, control and exposure to substances (Schulte et al 2020 ). Additionally, in these works, it is common the lack of provision of adequate protective personal equipment to workers, and in a specific manner to workers whose primary activities may generate exposure to substances that endanger their health (Pérez-Herrera et al 2019 , Quinlan et al 2001 ).…”

“…In a wider perspective, psychosocial risks are a major public health concern and are associated with economic and social security challenges [ 10 ]. Preventing and managing psychosocial risks are important now, but will become even more important in the post Covid-19 world, where workers will be increasingly exposed to psychosocial hazards arising from the present and future uncertainty of the work situation or from changes in work processes and arrangements, and their negative consequences on workers’ well-being and mental health [ 1 , 11 ].…”
