Teaching a foreign language at a non-linguistic university should be a purposeful, intensive, exciting and effective process, capable of ensuring both the development of foreign language skills and abilities and high motivation of technical students to learn a foreign language. The author of the article determines that the combination of traditional and interactive teaching technologies at the practical lessons of business foreign language increases the efficiency of the process. The author's textbook "Business English" for the bachelors of technical specialties on business foreign language in the informational-didactic base of Samara Technical University is presented in the article.
