Te difuse thickening of the glands and adrenal enlargement has been reported as a precursor of adrenal hemorrhage [10,[12][13][14]. A high index of suspicion is needed, and any clinical indicators of acute adrenal insufciency should prompt immediate measurement of cortisol and ACTH.…”
