Prediction of Storage Ageing in a Lithium Ion Battery Using an Electrochemical Model

Abstract: Hybrid and electric vehicles are becoming increasingly popular due to their benefits in lowering emissions and lower dependency on fossil fuels. A hybrid vehicle battery spends around 70% of its time in storage at different temperatures compared to being cycled.
