Predictive value of LncRNA on coronary restenosis after percutaneous coronary intervention in patients with coronary heart disease

Abstract: Background. Evidence shows that long-stranded non-coding RNA (LncRNA) can predict coronary artery restenosis in patients suffering from coronary heart disease after percutaneous coronary intervention, suggesting that LncRNA may become a promising biomarker for the diagnosis of coronary artery restenosis after percutaneous coronary intervention. However, its accuracy has not been systematically evaluated. Therefore, it is necessary to perform meta-analysis to certify the diagnostic value of LncRNA o… Show more

“…As the leading cause of non-infection disease deaths worldwide, CHD has become an increasing and un-negligible public health problem. [ 1 , 23 , 24 ] Preliminary risk stratification can provide better prevention and management of CHD. Novel biomarkers, such as elevated TG/HDL-C ratio, were reported to be associated with a higher risk of atherosclerotic CHD.…”

“…[75][76][77] Clinically, intervention therapies, such as percutaneous coronary intervention, are usually utilized for treating the vascular narrowing. 78,79 However, such therapies are faced with the problem of limited transplantation sources. In this regard, vascular grafts based on engineered biomaterials have been extensively investigated and developed to replace the autografts.…”

“…With the wide application of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) technology, the quality of life of patients with coronary heart disease has been signifcantly improved [4]. SYNTAX score can refect the complexity of coronary artery, but with the increase of its value, the incidence of adverse cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events after PCI increases signifcantly, such as death, stroke, and myocardial infarction [5][6][7]. Analyzing the infuencing factors of SYNTAX score has guiding signifcance for clinical treatment of coronary heart disease.…”
