Abstract: Drug-resistant tuberculosis (DR-TB) is an ongoing challenge in the Torres Strait / Papua New Guinea border region. Treatment success rates have historically been poor for patients diagnosed with DR-TB, leading to increased transmission and resistance multiplication risk.
