Preference-Enhanced Communication Intervention and Development of Social Communicative Functions in a Child With Autism Spectrum Disorder

Abstract: Individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) who exhibit limited speech can learn to communicate using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems.
