Prefrontal/accumbal catecholamine system determines motivational salience attribution to both reward- and aversion-related stimuli

Abstract: Recent evidence suggests that rewarding and aversive stimuli affect the same brain areas, including medial prefrontal cortex and nucleus accumbens.
