Abstract:Carbon-encapsulated iron-based alloy nanoparticles with a core-shell structure were prepared by detonation decomposition of nitrate complex explosives containing multi-metallic ions. The size and magnetic properties of the as-prepared composite particles were revealed by X-ray powder diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray detector and magnetic measurements. Results showed that the different sizes of the ferronickel and ferrocobalt nanocrystal core and the thickness of the carbon… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
