“…Qualitatively, ICP-OES and TGA analyses seemingly showed the similar trend that the combined contents of Ni and Co on NieCo/r-GO(suc) catalysts were relatively higher than those of NieCo/r-GO(sim) catalysts. Previously, cobalt accounted for approximately 30 wt% of Co/IR-120 catalysts, measured by the ICP-OES, could be deposited onto the commercial ion-exchange resin beads, Amberlite IR-120 [7]. In this work, the electroless deposition of Ni and Co in succession on r-GO supports could give a much higher loadings of active catalytic species, Co (26.1 wt%) and Ni (39.5 wt%).…”

“…Several factors could influence the hydrolysis reaction of sodium borohydride [7]. For example, the heat exothermically emitted from the reacting system could increase the temperature of the reacting system and, therefore, accelerate the reaction rates on both sides of the hydrolysis reaction.…”

“…2c. The dense flower-shaped structures were also observed on Co/IR-120 catalysts after cobalt was reduced on IR-120 resin beads with relatively smooth surface by NaBH 4 [25]. The compositions of the catalysts were determined by EDS and listed in Fig.…”
