Pressure Transient Analysis and Transient Inflow Performance Relationship of Multiple-Fractured Horizontal Wells in Naturally Fractured Reservoirs by a Trilinear Flow Model

Abstract: Trilinear flow model is an effective method to reproduce the flow behavior for horizontal wells with multistage hydraulic fracture treatments in unconventional reservoirs. However, models developed so far for transient analysis have rarely considered the inflow performance of wells. This paper introduces a new composite dual-porosity trilinear flow model for the multiple-fractured horizontal well in the naturally fractured reservoirs. The analytical solution is derived under a constant rate condition for analy… Show more

“…Ozkan et al [22] proposed and used trilinear flow to study the flow discipline of tight gas, obtained a typical pressure response curve, and accurately described the SRV of tight gas reservoirs after fracturing. Xiang, Huizhu, et al [23] used trilinear flow to study the influence of microfractures in the matrix on productivity. Ketineni [24] established an elliptical composite reservoir flow model for tight oil reservoirs, characterized SRV with an inner elliptical area, obtained pressure instability response results and production decline curves, and enriched the model described by SRV.…”
