“…While it typically affects seniors aged 60–85 years old, younger patients have been reported. The vast majority of PIOL is diffuse large B-cell lymphoma involving vitreous–retina complex; PIOL originates in the ciliary body (PCBL) is extremely rare,[ 1 2 3 4 ] and CBL of PCNSL, as is the case of our current patient, to the best of our knowledge, has not been reported.…”

“…Reported cases with ciliary body lymphoma were usually presented as mild anterior inflammation, secondary glaucoma, and concomitant iris infiltration;[ 1 2 3 4 ] none had systemic or CNS involvement except for one case in whom skin was involved later. [ 2 ] Our current patient, however, was a young male who complained blurred vision in the left eye 3 years after the diagnosis of PCNSL (diffuse large B-cell), and a complete ophthalmic examination revealed mild anterior inflammation, scattered granular white lesions in the angle of anterior chamber, as well as vitreous opacity with unremarkable fundus; UBM revealed epiretinal deposits and ciliary body masses with almost 360° involved.…”

“…The majority of uveal lymphomas are confined to the choroid, while reports of ciliary body involvement have rarely been documented. This rare condition is further classified as primary or secondary lymphoma, depending on whether the disease is confined to the ciliary body or whether there is concomitant extensive systemic lymphoma (2)(3)(4)(5)(6)(7)(8). We herein report the clinical features, histopathological findings, systemic associations and treatment outcomes of three cases of ciliary body involvement by lymphoma with different primary lesions.…”

“…Koç et al 18 described a 59-year-old man who presented to their referral center in Ankara, Turkey with treatment refractory anterior uveitis and a hemorrhagic hypopyon who was found to have a primary ciliary body marginal zone lymphoma. The authors cited three previously reported cases of lymphoma localized to the ciliary body 3,40,41 and reports of iris lymphomas, some of which also involved the ciliary body. 42 Many were indolent and responded to treatment with external beam radiotherapy, and several displayed pseudo-hypopyon.…”
