“…Opačným a teda negatívnym nepriamym účinkom PZI na domáce podniky je vznik duálnej ekonomiky, kedy dochádza k situácií, že na jednej strane fungujú v domácej ekonomike zahraničné firmy, ktoré prosperujú a na druhej strane domáce podniky, ktoré hospodária neefektívne a sú z trhu vytláčané silnejšími zahraničnými spoločnosťami. Na tento fakt upozorňuje vo svojej štúdií napríklad aj Benáček (2000) kde uvádza, že už od roku 1993 sa dá pozorovať ako sa česká ekonomika stáva duálnou ekonomikou. Na jednej strane sú prosperujúce a rastúce podniky napojené na zahraničný kapitál a vlastníkov, na druhej strane figurujú podkapitalizované bývalé štátne podniky.…”
