“…The main reasons for exclusion were 1) the study was conducted in animals, children/adolescents, or patients (n=20), 2) the study was no EEG study or did not include ERP measures (n=34), 3) no face-related stimuli were used (n=39), 4) the article was not published in English language (n=4), or 5) the article was not original research (n=7). The remaining 100 were sought for retrieval, where three articles could not be retrieved (Beaton et al, 2012;Sobótka & Grabowska, 1985;Zhang et al, 2017). From the remaining 97 articles, 59 were excluded after carefully reading the full text.…”
