“…However, the variation of complex substrate’s composition between batches should be expected as its characteristic is fully dependent on the process and the raw material used. In particular, biosurfactant produced by P. fluorescens grown in media containing a mixture of natural manipueira (cassava flour wastewater) and nutrient broth reduced the surface tension of water to 59 mN/m from 80 mN/m compared to the media containing decanted manipueira [ 74 ]. Other agricultural waste like cashew apple juice (CAJ) was also utilized in biosurfactant production by Acinetobacter calcoaceticus .…”

“…Cassava flour wastewater mixed with nutrient broth was served as a medium for rhamnolipids production by P. fluorescens [ 103 ]. When solid residues were removed from cassava wastewater and autoclaved for use as a growth medium for various P. aeruginosa strains, rhamnolipids yields between 169.9 and 300.3 mg/L were achieved [ 104 ].…”

“…The biosurfactants exhibited critical micelle concentration (CMC) value of 715 mg/L and lowered the surface tension of the water from 80 mN/m to 59 mN/m [12]. We also have found that soybean oil could be used as a carbon source for rhamnolipids biosurfactants by P. aeruginosa.…”
