The purpose of this study was to find out student errors in solving problems about mathematical literacy. This study uses a qualitative research approach with sampling method is purposive sampling. The study subjects were three students who were taken based on KAM (Student Initial Ability), namely high, medium, and low ability categories. Each subject is one person per category from the Department of Accounting, Bandung State Polytechnic. This study analyzes student errors in solving mathematical literacy problems in the statistics course for the sub-discussion of hypothesis testing. The error analysis method used is Newman analysis. This study uses two instruments, namely a test instrument with four questions in the form of descriptions and interviews. The data will then be classified into five error categories according to Newman's analysis. The conclusions in this study indicate that there are errors in answering questions, especially for mathematical literacy questions; students are expected to be able to analyze questions in the form of story questions; Understanding the problem instructions and information contained in the problem is the first step in working on mathematical literacy problems so that the level of errors and errors in working on the questions is more resolved. Of the five errors that became the standard for Newman Error Analysis assessment, three errors were made by respondents, namely errors in understanding story questions correctly, errors in transforming story questions into mathematical sentences, and errors in writing the final answer.

Science learning emphasizes the provision of understanding, experience and direct practice to develop students' potential. But the facts on the ground show that the learning conditions in schools have not gone well. This study aims to determine the effect of the Discovery Learning model assisted by realia media on the critical thinking skills of science content in fifth grade elementary school students. This study was a quasi-experimental design using the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were 190 students with two sample groups, namely the experimental group which consisted of 38 students and the control group which consisted of 37 students. Methods of data collection using a test form of description. The research data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis techniques using the t-test. The results of the analysis of the hypothesis showed that tcount was 3.407 and ttable was 1.993 with a significant level of 5% and dk = 73. Because tcount 3.407 was greater than ttable 1.993, Ha was accepted that there are differences in students' critical thinking skills in science content who are taught with the Discovery Learning model assisted by realia media and the group of students who are not taught with the Discovery Learning model assisted by realia media in fifth grade elementary school students.

Literasi statistis adalah salah satu hardskill matematik yang harus dimiliki mahasiswa calon jurnalis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan literasi statistis mahasiswa berdasarkan komponen keterampilan membaca, pengetahuan statistika, pengetahuan matematika, pengetahuan konteks, dan keterampilan mengevaluasi informasi melalui pertanyaan kritis dan mendeskripsikan gambaran literasi statistis mahasiswa ditinjau dari tingkat resiliensi matematisnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif jenis non-eksperimental deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah 38 orang mahasiswa di program studi Jurnalistik diperoleh dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini dialksanakan pada bulan September 2021. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes literasi statistis dan skala resiliensi matematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komponen literasi statistis dengan capaian tertinggi adalah pengetahuan konteks dan terendah adalah pertanyaan kritis. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah dari 5 komponen capaian literasi statistis mahasiswa hanya 1 komponen yang termasuk kategori baik yaitu pengetahuan konteks sedangkan 4 lainnya termasuk kategori kurang dan perlu ditingkatkan. Selanjutnya secara deskriptif capaian masing-masing komponen literasi statistis antara mahasiswa dengan resiliensi tinggi dan sedang tidak jauh berbeda. Capaian literasi statistis pada mahasiswa dengan kategori resiliensi tinggi dan sedang adalah hanya 1 komponen yang termasuk kategori baik yaitu pengetahuan konteks sedangkan 4 lainnya termasuk kategori kurang dan perlu ditingkatkan juga.
