The purpose of this study was to determine the learning interests, difficulties, and conceptual understanding of high school students on cell concepts. The study was conducted at one of the state high schools in Serang. The study cohort comprised 71 students enrolled in class XI, specializing in Mathematics and Natural Sciences, and a teacher in Biology. The data collection methodology employed in this research involved conducting structured interviews with the biology educator and survey questionnaires among students. The stages in carrying out data analysis are data reduction, data display, and the iterative process of drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this research showed the importance of students' conceptual understanding of cell concepts, as evidenced in the data analysis of students who have a low level of conceptual understanding. The low understanding of the concept is caused by several factors, including cell concepts being too complex and abstract, dominant learning not being interactive, cell concepts being conceptual, and difficulty understanding foreign languages or Latin. Based on the results of interviews with biology teachers, several obstacles result in students' low conceptual understanding of cell concepts, including students being less interested in seeking additional explanations regarding cell concepts, students having low memory ability in studying the lesson concepts that has been presented by the teacher, and still a lack of availability of teaching aids in schools for cell concepts.

This research originated from the lack of utilization of learning media by educators in learning biology in high school which has the potential to affect student interest in learning. This study aims to produce learning media in the form of a valid interactive video. This research refers to the research and development approach by applying the 4D development model, which consists of defining, designing, developing, and disseminating stages. The focus of this research is one of the development stages of interactive learning videos, involving the assessment of expert validators who assess three main aspects, namely the presentation of material, video quality, and language used. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics. Based on the data analysis, the validity level of the developed interactive learning video reached a score of 4.6. The score indicates that the video was declared into the "valid" category. In this study, four discussion videos discussed cell material. The conclusion from the results of the data analysis shows that the interactive learning videos developed on cell concepts meet the valid criteria.

Students' perception of the concept of physical education is one of the determinants of success in learning. Physical activity characteristics that are dominated by physical activity are often perceived as inaccurate, resulting in a low appreciation of it. This study aimed to develop an instrument to measure students' perceptions of the concept of physical education. This research is development research involving 693 junior high school students in Pacitan, Tulungagung, and Kediri districts. To measure the validity of the instrument, the biserial point correlation technique was used with the help of Microsoft Excel, and to measure the reliability of the instrument used the Cronbach Alpha analysis technique with the help of SPSS version 23. The results obtained were the compilation of 71 statements that could be used to measure students' perceptions of the concept of physical education. Teachers can use the results of this development to measure perceptions, especially junior high school students, about the concept of physical education subjects so that teachers can prepare learning materials based on the perception data obtained. This development research only measures perceptions at the junior high school level, it is hoped that further research can involve motivation and implementation of physical education learning at various levels of education.
