This study aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the supplement book of mycorrhizal spore based on science literacy at the campus forest in State University of Medan that has been developed. The subjects of this research are material experts, learning experts, design experts, and students who take the Lower Level Organism Taxonomy course in the Department of Biology, State University of Medan. Research and development (R and D) with the Thiagarajan (4D) model, namely: (1) Define data taken from the results of student needs analysis and get a score of 69% Students to need mycorrhizal spore supplement books based on scientific literacy, (2) Design the outline of the supplement book produces four chapters that will be discussed, namely, introduction, the development of mycorrhizae in the tropics, methods of observing mycorrhizal and mycorrhizal fungi on mahogany trees in the Unimed campus forest, (3) Development of field research that has been carried out to obtain results. the results of three genera of mycorrhizal spores found under the tree Swietenia mahogany L, namely Glomus sp. with 28 types of spores, Gigaspora sp. with 4 types of spores, and Acaulospora sp. with 3 types of spores. After the observation results are obtained, it is developed into a supplement book that will be tested for feasibility. The results of the material expert assessment obtained a score of 81% in the very worthy category and 95% for the assessment of scientific literacy aspects in the very worthy category, and the results of the learning expert assessment obtained a score of 85.5% in the very worthy category and the results of the design expert assessment obtained a score of 86.6% in the very worthy category. After the book is declared worthy, the fourth stage is carried out. Dissemination (dissemination) is carried out by individual product trials obtaining a score of 87% in the very worthy category, the small group test obtaining a very worthy score of 89%, and the limited group test obtaining a score of 87% in the very worthy category. To prove whether the developed supplement book is effective for use in the Lower Level Organism Taxonomy course, the N-Gain test obtained a score of 63% in the category of quite effective.

To face challenges in the 21st century efficiently and effectively, a country needs students who have inventive thinking in addition to being innovative and creative. The low level of student mindset is an obstacle in the current global era. Therefore, this study aims to analyze students' inventive thinking skills in online learning at SMP Negeri 5 Ukui sub-district. The research method used is a survey method. The database of students' creative thinking abilities was collected through online questionnaires/questionnaires using Google Form, then analyzed descriptively using the SPSS version 23.00 program for Windows. The subjects used as research samples were 55 students of class IX SMP Negeri 5 Ukui. The results showed that the mastery of the elements of students' inventive thinking skills at SMP Negeri 5 Ukui had an average of 3.81 in the Good category. Obtaining the good category, seen from the respondents' responses, namely students have a high curiosity very well. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that the inventive thinking ability of students with a total frequency of 55 students, overall shows that students of SMP Negeri 5 Ukui have good inventive thinking skills, where an average of 3.81 or 10 is also shown by the results of the category. in good presentation. From this research, it is hoped that students' inventive thinking skills will continue to develop both from flexibility and complexity, self-regulation, curiosity, creativity, being able to take risks and high-level thinking.

Kemampuan literasi sains menekankan pada penggunaan pengetahuan dan informasi, mengubah cara orang berinteraksi dengan dunia dan bagaimana dunia dapat digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik setelah diterapkan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan virtual lab (PhET Simulations) pada pembelajaran fisika. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan quasi experimental dengan design penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis N-gain skor untuk mengetahui peningkatan skor pada nilai pretes dan posttest. Kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik meningkat pada kelas eksperimen secara signifikan dengan rata-rata n-gain sebesar 0,718 yang berkategori tinggi sedangkan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 0,409 berkategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan virtual lab pada pembelajaran fisika dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik SMA kelas X.
