Show more

“…In general, the elongation at break is a property that depends on the interaction level between phases in the system. 79 The behavior of the curves for the PA6/SEBS-MA mixture and the magnetic nanocomposites supports the existence of a chemical reaction between PA6 and SEBS-MA, as suggested by the FTIR results. Regarding the concentration of each ferrite in the nanocomposites, the elongation at break reached a maximum value for 3 pcr of Ni-Zn and Ni-Zn-C, respectively.…”

“…XRD analysis is widely applied to analyze PA6 matrix nanocomposites, aiming at detecting their crystalline phases, [48,49] additionally, it is a tool to elucidate the magnetic nanofiller dispersion into the nanocomposites, [50] corroborating the magnetic response as applied field function. [51,52] Figure 2 illustrates X-ray diffractograms (XRD) of PA6, Ni-Zn ferrite, PA6/EPDM-MA blend, and nanocomposites, with indicated mixing sequences. PA6 and PA6/EPDM-MA displayed diffraction peak at 2θ ~21.1 , referring to PA6 α phase with monoclinic form Reference [53].…”
