“…Identifying the nature of infant cues is particularly challenging in the case of infants at risk for dyslexia. Unlike other populations in which infant factors may influence parental communicative behaviors (e.g., infants with autism spectrum disorder or Down syndrome; Quigley, McNally, & Lawson, ; Venuti, Falco, Esposito, Zaninelli, & Bornstein, ), there are no visible signs that signal that a child is at risk for or has dyslexia.
