Prospective Surveillance Study of Invasive Pneumococcal Disease Among Urban Children in the Philippines

Abstract: IPD is an important cause of morbidity and mortality among urban children in the Philippines. Our data support the expectation that widespread immunization would decrease IPD disease burden.
