Protection from infection with influenza A H7N9 virus in a mouse model by equine neutralizing F(ab′)2

Abstract: Influenza A H7N9 virus has demonstrated considerable pandemic potential in China ever since early spring 2013. Until now, there have been no specific medicines to treat influenza A H7N9 virus infected patients. Development of a safe and effective H7N9 therapeutic preparation is urgently needed.
