Protein Equilibration Through Somatic Ring Canals in Drosophila

Abstract: Although intercellular bridges resulting from incomplete cytokinesis were discovered in somatic Drosophila tissues decades ago, the impact of these structures on intercellular communication and tissue biology is largely unknown.
