Abstract: INTRODUÇÃO: A expansão rápida da maxila assistida por mini-implantes (MARPE) vem sendo a principal opção de tratamento ortopédico transversal da maxila para pacientes adultos jovens, que já atingiram determinada maturação esquelética.
