Proton induced X-ray emission (PIXE) analysis of sources of porcelain body of Ru Guan and Jun Guan porcelains

Abstract: 34 samples of Ru Guan porcelain body and 50 samples of Jun Guan porcelain body (both kinds being in different body colors) were selected with the purpose of finding out the source of raw materials and their classification relationship so as to search for ways of non-destructive discrimination. Proton induced X-ray emission (PIXE) has been applied to these samples to determine their chemical elements. The data of seven major chemical elements collected from these samples were further studied through fuzzy clust… Show more

“…Foamed samples present low values of cell density ( N c ≈ 10 3 cm −3 ), with pore diameters in the range of 100 µm. The PBA foaming process of amorphous polymers, especially PS, has been analyzed by Li et al with different values of GCP (up to 6 MPa) but without core‐back. The obtained structure has also a low value of cell density, and cell diameters are about 50 µm.…”

“…Therefore, many preconcentration procedures for determination of molybdenum have been developed involving different analytical techniques. Preconcentration and determination of trace molybdenum had been developed by using different complexing agents in liquid -liquid extraction and several adsorbent materials for its on-line solid phase extraction (SPE) assisted by complexing reagents [10][11][12][13][14][15][16].…”

“…[18][19][20] The combination of gas back-pressure and microcellular foaming was also used to improve the surface quality, which prevented cell nucleation during the lling stage. [21][22][23] High-pressure gas was injected into the mold cavity prior to the injection of the melt, and the high pressure in the cavity prevented cell nucleation during the lling stage, thereby improving the surface quality. However, two methods needed additional equipment, which greatly increased the experimental cost.…”
