This article highlights the outcomes of applied research on " Psychological support of the professional activity of pedagogical workers in the conditions of global changes " conducted at the Ivan Zyazyun Institute of Pedagogical Education and Adult Education of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The study aimed to recognize signs of individual integrity breaches and determine methods to restore it. The research problem regarding morale restoration in psychological support is challenging to investigate, so the study employed experimental work, diagnostic interviews, observations, and self-assessment methods. Various instruments and techniques, such as hospital anxiety and depression scale (HADS), anxiety scale (HARS), depression scale (BDI), Wiesbaden questionnaire WIPPF, among others were utilized. The primary outcomes of the research reveal that a vast majority of the participants manifest indications of breaching their personality's moral integrity. Hence, there is a pressing need to not only prevent and overcome depression, anxiety, and panic attacks due to wars' aftermath relied on the subjects but as well as to rehabilitate one's moral integrity through positive psychotherapy means.The practical significance of the study is determined by the applied aspect of its results in relation to ensuring that pedagogical workers preserve the integrity of the individual and health; decrease in general emotional load; increasing the resourcefulness of the individual.The results of the research are taken into account and used: in complex psychotherapeutic work in the methods of positive psychotherapy and hypnotherapy; group training in the techniques of mental self-regulation, psychological self-help, and can also be useful for workers in helping professions in working with people affected by the war.

Psychological Security and its Relationship to Mental Health Among a Sample of Women in East Jerusalem

Objectives: The study aimed to identify the relationship between psychological security and mental health among women in East Jerusalem and to identify the differences in psychological security and mental health according to the economic status, and according to working with a job / without a job. Methods: The sample consisted of (204) women, and the study used the psychological security scale prepared by the researcher and the mental health scale, which was codified by Fadel Abu Hein (1996). Results: results showed: There was a positive correlation between the level of psychological security and the level of mental health, there were no statistically significant differences in the level of psychological security attributed to the place of residence, differences were found in the level of mental health due to work, the differences were in favour of women who did not work. Finally, there were significant differences in mental health among women attributable to place of residence and work. Finally, there were statistically significant differences in the level of mental health due to the differences in the level of Psychological Security. Conclusions: According to the research outcomes, more attention must be given to the lives and mental health of Palestinian people, especially women, who live in East Jerusalem. More attention and support must be given by the Palestinian authority to Palestinian people especially women in order to enhance their sense of security and resistance.

Метою цієї статті є висвітлення результатів прикладного дослідження «Розвиток психологічної готовності педагогічного персоналу до професійної діяльності в умовах Нової української школи», що виконується в Інституті педагогічної освіти і освіти дорослих імені Івана Зязюна НАПН України; виокремлення основних тенденцій та визначення впливу тривожних станів на психологічну готовність особистості до професійної діяльності під час реалізації Концепції НУШ в умовах війни; з’ясування особливостей динаміки виникнення панічних розладів внаслідок переживання досліджуваними особами воєнних подій. Психологічна готовність особистості до професійної діяльності як проблема дослідження є складним для вивчення феноменом. Це зумовило вибір комбінованого підходу до експериментальної роботи та відповідних методів і методик дослідження: діагностичне інтерв’ю, спостереження; методики самооцінки здоров’я та психічних станів; госпітальна шкала тривоги і депресії HADS, шкала тривоги, HARS, шкала депресії BDI та ін. Основні результати дослідження полягають у: виявленні серед досліджуваних осіб високого рівня тривожності та депресії; з’ясуванні того, що переважна частина досліджуваних мають недостатній рівень психологічної готовності до професійної діяльності та виявляють ознаки панічних нападів і симптоми панічного розладу; констатації потреби не тільки у попередженні та подоланні станів депресії й тривоги, а зокрема психотерапії панічних розладів, що виникли та розвинулися у представників досліджуваних категорій внаслідок війни. Практичне значення дослідження зумовлене прикладним аспектом його результатів стосовно забезпечення педагогічним працівникам збереження психічного та професійного здоров’я; зниження загального емоційного навантаження; підвищення ресурсності особистості та формування цілісності професійної самореалізації, професійної рефлексії в загальній системі розвитку психологічної готовності до професійної діяльності. Результати дослідження враховані та використані: в комплексній психотерапевтичній роботі у когнітивному, індивідуально-орієнтованому, позитивному підходах, гіпнотерапії; груповому навчанні прийомам психічної саморегуляції, психологічної самодопомоги, а також можуть бути корисними для працівників допомагаючих професій в роботі з людьми, постраждалими внаслідок війни.
