Psicoterapia de criança com alopecia areata universal: desenvolvendo a resiliência

Abstract

Este artigo apresenta um estudo de caso de uma criança portadora de alopecia areata universal, vitiligo e transtorno de ansiedade generalizada, atendida em clínica-escola de psicologia de 2002 a 2007. A abordagem terapêutica adotada foi a psicoterapia de orientação psicanalítica infantil e a orientação sistemática aos pais, objetivando a diminuição dos sintomas e o desenvolvimento de habilidades para o enfrentamento da doença crônica. No decorrer do processo, ao longo dos cinco anos de atendimento, a paciente adaptou-se positivamente à doença, ocorrendo a remissão dos sintomas de ansiedade e o desenvolvimento de comportamentos resilientes que indicaram a alta terapêutica.

Vitiligo as a psychosocial disease: apprehensions of patients imprinted by the white

“…Stigma, prejudice and discrimination towards people who have vitiligo was also observed by Kent 35 , Lopes 27 , Müller 29 , Müller and Ramos 30 , Menezes et al 31 , Oliveira et al 26 , Sant'Anna et al 23 , Pahwa et al 37 , who highlighted the negative implications these actions had on their self-esteem and quality of life, besides the difficulties to establish interpersonal relations and consequently to fit in the social dynamics. “…These effects were described in the literature referring to vitiligo and other psychodermatological disorders as a result of psychodermatology support 18,23,[26][27][28][29][30][31] . In a special way, it is highlighted the work of Correia and Borloti 18 , carried out with 61 vitiligo bearers, in which it was apprehended the importance of psychological counselling, as support to the best treatment effects, done so with the verbalization of the patients' experiences.…”

“…It is also worth mentioning that the work developed by Menezes et al 31 concerning a patient bearer of vitiligo and alopecia areata universalis, with whom, besides medical supervision, it was adopted a systematic psychotherapeutic support over the course of five years, assisting the strengthening of the self-esteem and remission of symptoms such as anxiety. Hence, from the psychotherapeutic support, the patient in question managed to reassign a different meaning to the experience of being a carrier of these psychodermatological disorders, demonstrating new skills to handle the looks, which, in times, are discriminating and stigmatizing from the others, positively adapting to live with such affections.…”

Brincar como meio de comunicação na psicoterapia de crianças com mutismo seletivo

“…Há relatos na literatura científica dos últimos cinco anos (Menezes, López & Delvan, 2010;Anderson & Gedo, 2013;Mello, Sei, & Zanetti, 2013;Rodrigues, Sei & Arruda, 2013) sobre as contribuições da psicoterapia psicanalítica de crianças com situações psíquicas distintas do MS. Porém, em relação a trabalhos que relatem casos dessa prática psicoterapêutica em crianças com MS, foram encontrados, nas principais bases de dados em psicologia e saúde mental (Pubmed, PePSIC, LILACS, SciELO e PsycINFO) nos últimos cinco anos, apenas dois artigos: um que usa o psicodrama e modelagem de comportamento (Oon, 2010); e outro que trata o MS com terapia comportamental (Welkom, Gabrielsen & Robins, 2013).…”
