“…[10] However, despite several bibliometric studies on infectious diseases in the literature, few comprehensive studies have focused on summarizing and presenting research on mucormycosis, as they also have limited content. [11,12] Moreover, they can make comparisons between general journals publishing the results of large trials and specialty journals, which are leaders in publishing novelties. The network visualization figures make it easier for readers to understand articles, citations, co-citations, and other bibliometric analysis findings by visualizing them.…”

“…The Journal of Virology (IF 2018 5 4.434) has published the most significant number of articles on CoV (1,128 articles, 6.51% of the total). Sharma and Dubey (2021) conducted an exceptional study that analyzed post-COVID mucormycosis publications with data from the WHO database. The WHO LHT 42,1 database was searched with two simple keywords, "Mucormycosis" and "Covid" which retrieved 40 articles and 01 clinical trials.…”

“…[23][24][25] Two other bibliometric studies that focussed on CAM and included publications till May and August 2021, respectively, provided analyses of 154 and 51 publications only, far lower than would be expected of an intensely researched topic. 26,27 Thus a comprehensive mapping of CAM research is still lacking. In the present contribution, we attempted to provide a bibliometric assessment of published research on CAM using the Scopus database.…”
