El estado de la investigación en ciencia política sobre América Latina ResumenEsta investigación analiza el estado de la investigación producida en ciencia política y cuyo objeto de estudio es América Latina. Para ello, presentamos una base de datos inédita en la que incluimos los artículos publicados en revistas en español y portugués que se encuentran en los índices JCR o Scimago. En primer lugar, los resultados reflejan una disciplina diná-mica, plural en términos teóricos, inclinada prioritariamente al estudio de los temas clásicos de la disciplina y con falencias en el orden metodológico. Por otro lado, constatamos que existen muy pocas revistas para la publicación, por lo que urge la creación de revistas especializadas. Además, nuestros hallazgos empíricos dan cuenta de la necesidad de incluir en las agendas de investigación tanto a países menos estudiados como temas que, a pesar de ser relevantes (v. g. corrupción), han sido poco explorados. Finalmente, este trabajo plantea la urgencia de fomentar la cooperación institucional.Palabras clave: ciencia política, América Latina, investigación. AbstractThis research analyzes the state of Political Science research with a focus on Latin America. To this aim, an unpublished database is presented containing articles published in Spanish and Portuguese journals that are included in JCR or Scimago indexes. First of all, the results show a discipline which is dynamic, theoretically plural, mainly inclined to the study of classic issues within the discipline, and with some methodological failures. On the other hand, it is confirmed the existence of very few journals where to publish, so the creation of specialized ones seems urgent. Furthermore, our empirical findings point out to the necessity of including both under-researched countries and relevant yet underexplored topics (e. g. corruption) in the research agenda. Finally, this work raises the urgency of promoting cooperation at institutional level.

“…Plus encore, les récentes transformations du paysage universitaire français (entre autres le développement de l'autonomie des universités et la réforme des institutions de recherche en sciences sociales et des modalités de l'évaluation de cette dernière) ont accentué cet effort de réflexivité et d'introspection souvent inquiet (Déloye et Mayer, 2008 ;Caillé et Chanal, 2009 ;Beaud, 2010). Cependant, ces enquêtes ont principalement fait progresser notre connaissance du point de vue de l'analyse de la productivité scientifique des politistes (Jobard, 2010), de la compréhension de leur « stratégie de publication » (Billordo, 2005 ;Grossman, 2010) ou encore des effets de l'internationalisation de la discipline sur les conditions de la production scientifique dans notre discipline (Boncourt, 2011). L'analyse sociologique du profil des politistes et, plus encore, l'hypothèse d'une transformation de ce dernier, restent encore largement en chantier.…”

Cette note de recherche propose de dresser un portrait collectif de la science politique française aujourd’hui. Elle présente l’état de la discipline et analyse ses récentes évolutions qui laissent apparaître une tendance à la fragmentation. Ce portrait collectif permet notamment d’observer l’évolution des recrutements (distribution des différents statuts d’enseignants-chercheurs, déséquilibre de genre, distribution géographique…). L’élément principal de transformation évoqué vient des réformes en cours dans le paysage académique français avec les redéfinitions du partenariat entre les universités et les instituts d’études politiques et la voie qui vise à rendre les universités de plus en plus autonomes.This paper outlines a collective picture of the French political science today. It sketches the state of the discipline and analyses recent trends that appear almost as a form of “fragmentation.” This collective picture makes it possible in particular to observe the evolution of the recruitments of the French academic staff (distribution of different statuses of teacher-researcher, gender imbalance, geographical distribution…). The main element of transformation comes from the on-going reforms in the French academic landscape with the redefinitions of the partnership between universities and the institutes of political studies, and the way the autonomy of universities will be implemented
