Abstract: The aim of this entry is to describe Anthony Giddens's theoretical pure relationship model. Giddens uses the model to try to describe the main transformations in the sphere of intimate relations in modern society. Two main elements of pure relationships are analyzed: confluent love and plastic sexuality.
