Pyroelectric properties of the triglycine sulphate crystal formerly influenced by a transverse electric field

Abstract: Measurements of the hysteresis loop and pyroelectric current density have been carried out. It has been shown that the function describing the remanent polarization decay over time generated by a prolonged transverse electric field is for TGS qualitatively the same as for other uniaxial ferroelectrics (TGSe, Rochelle salt), regardless of the fact that different electrode-sample systems were used.
