When studying perceptions, it is important to consider factors of influence, like work environment characteristics (Oh et al., 2016), social norms, relationships, trust, values (Burhans & Alligood, 2010), the institution, working position, working time (Bayer & Baykal, 2018), shift lengths (Stimpfel et al., 2012), patient need fulfilment, therapeutic effectiveness, empathic, respectful interactions (Burhans & Alligood, 2010) and interpersonal relationships with patients and leadership (Rosen et al., 2018).
