Abstract: Recebido em 2/2//06; aceito em 25/4/06; publicado na web em 30/8/06 SULFADIMETHOXYNE QUANTIFICATION IN MILK BY HIGH PERFORMANCE LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY. A method for HPLC determination of sulfadimethoxyne in milk is presented. The analyte isolation and concentration were performed by solidphase extraction through a C-8 cartridge, pre-conditioned with hexane, methanol and water and eluted with MeOH. The recovery determination was done with a spiked solution of 20, 50 or 100 μg L -1 . In this concentration range, … Show more

“…Owing to concern over the analytical determination of sulfa drugs in pharmaceuticals and residues in food products, various methods have been proposed, including high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) [3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10], capillary electrophoresis [11][12][13], and gas chromatography [14][15][16]. These methods have proven to be sensitive and suitable for sulfonamide determination.…”

“…HPLC with reverse phase column, especially the C18 and Ultra Violet (HPLC-UV), diode array (HPLC-DAD) and fluorescence detector (HPLC-FLD) have been used to determine of a large number of antibiotics in milk samples, such as tetracycline, penicillin, ampicillin, sulfonamides and others (30)(31)(32)(33)(34)(35).…”
