Quick-Response Technique for Simplified Position Sensorless Vector Control in Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors

Abstract: We developed a quick-response technique for simplified vector control without using position sensors for permanent magnet synchronous motor drives. Our original simplified vector control has neither current control nor speed control, and the speed estimation response is limited by motor constants.
