“…Radicals produced by photolysis of poly(chloroprene) have been reported. 1 The ESR spectrum was a broad singlet and no identification of the radical specimens was given. Radicals have recently been detected in ultraviolet irradiated poly(chloroprene)2,3 (CR) although the assignment was tentative since only a broad first derivative ESR spectrum was obtained and even the second derivative spectrum showed only traces of hyperfine structure.…”
