The use of minimally invasive techniques for managing hallux valgus in foot and ankle surgery is expanding. Hallux valgus management would not be complete without a discussion of the Lapidus procedure. This chapter focuses on indications, contraindications, patient selection, and surgical techniques for the application of the percutaneous Lapidus procedure. In this chapter, the senior author details the pearls and pitfalls of the technique and discusses patient outcomes.
