Radiopacity of Luting Cements as a Potential Factor in Peri-implantitis: An In Vitro Comparative Study

Abstract: The aim of this study was to establish the radiopacity of cements used in implant-retained fixed partial dentures with respect to implant material, enamel, and dentin. A sample of 10 specimens of 13 different cements, implants, enamel, and dentin were prepared. Radiographs of the specimens and aluminum step wedges were acquired.
