Raman spectra of natural manganese oxides

Abstract: Manganese oxides occur typically as cryptocrystalline and fine-grained mixtures of different Mn-phases, carbonates, silicates, and Fe oxides/hydroxides; thus their characterization by standard methods, such as X-ray diffraction, is extremely challenging.
