“…Related topics of study, such as negative attitudes towards immigrants, have received more attention with less focus on the experiences of those who are targeted by these attitudes (Calmbach, Borgstedt, Borchard, Thomas, & Flaig, 2016). Scholars and anti-discrimination advocates, however, have clearly stated the need for more data, knowledge, and application of this knowledge to inform families, schools, and communities on how best to address racism (Antidiskriminierungsstelle des Bundes, 2020;Fereidooni & El, 2017;Gomis, 2020;Madubuko, 2017;Mecheril, 2004).
