Abstract-Real Time Performance Management (RTPM) is expected to be a key features of future developments of mobile networks. Allthough it is already requested by operators of mobile networks only basic approaches have been realized.Implementing access to real time performance data in a mobile network, with a large number of manageable nodes, leads to a huge ressource consumption. Not only network bandwidth but also processing ressources are consumed. Current PM schemes can hardly be extended to support real time performance management.We present a policy based approach that is capable to deal with challenges imposed by the request for real time performance data. Typical workflows are identified and analysed. Based on these analyses a policy based performance management system is introduced that allows a balanced configuration which does not exceed available ressources but still satisfies the information requirements of the human operators.

Wireless LAN (WLAN) technology is developing rapidly with the help of wireless communication technology and social demand. During the development of WLAN, the security is more and more important, and wireless monitoring and shielding are of prime importance for network security. In this paper, we have explored various security issues of IEEE 802.11 based wireless network and analyzed numerous problems in implementing the wireless monitoring and shielding system. We identify the challenges which monitoring and shielding system needs to be aware of, and then provide a feasible mechanism to avoid those challenges. We implemented an actual wireless LAN monitoring and shielding system on Maemo operating system to monitor wireless network data stream efficiently and solve the security problems of mobile users. More importantly, the system analyzes wireless network protocols efficiently and flexibly, reveals rich information of the IEEE 802.11 protocol such as traffic distribution and different IP connections, and graphically displays later. Moreover, the system running results show that the system has the capability to work stably, and accurately and analyze the wireless protocols efficiently.

This paper presents a fast information reproduction method for the HTTP protocol in public wireless local area network (WLAN). Through the collection and analysis of the HTTP packets in WLAN, this method reclassifies and organizes the multiple conversations by means of the conversation reunion algorithm, and proposes a way which is a single conversation corresponding to multiple connections. After merging the HTTP information of the different connections in each conversation, this method uses the multi threaded parallel processing technology to replay and reproduce the HTTP information fast. In conclusion, this paper gives the analysis of the implementation efficiency and the successful percentage of the HTTP information reproduction about the method.
