“…Based on the Kubelka-Munk theory, the band gap (Eg) of semiconductor materials can be calculated according to Equation (1) [38]. As shown in Figure 9b, hν is drawn with (Ahν) 2 , from which it can be obtained that the band gap of single SrTiO3 is about 3.32 eV. Similarly, it can also be calculated that the band gaps of Mn-SrTiO3@CF and SrTiO3@CF composites are about 2.91 eV and 3.08 eV, respectively.…”

“…The notable activity of the Pd based systems compared to the others can be attributed to their hydrogen spill-over ability to the intermediates of the CO 2 to FA process. 45,46 To improve the CO 2 to FA reduction activity further, Pd metal along with other metals as bimetallic catalysts (Pd-Co, Pd-Ni and Pd-Ag) have been impregnated on APTES-GLU-D and their activity tested using similar conditions. The results are summarized in Table S7.…”

“…4 In particular, PMOs are promising candidates in catalysis, where they are used as solid ligands to immobilize active metal complexes in the mesopores. 5 While the direct incorporation of pre-formed metal complexes into organosilica frameworks during the synthesis of PMOs has been already reported, 6 PMOs can act as versatile solid ligands by (a) the direct incorporation of a coordination site into the organosilica framework followed by complexation, 7,8 or (b) the post-functionalization of PMOs by grafting a metal complex/a coordination site via the surface silanol groups or functional groups integrated into the organosilica framework. 9…”
