Régimes et transitions démographiques en Europe de l’Ouest. Un essai de synthèse

Abstract: Cet article porte sur les régimes démographiques en Europe de l’Ouest. Il est divisé en deux parties. La première propose une synthèse des principaux modèles théoriques s’y référant. La seconde porte sur les interactions entre les phénomènes démographiques, mais aussi sur leurs relations avec les composantes socio-économiques, culturelles et institutionnelles des sociétés.
