Regiodivergent sulfonylation of terminal olefins via dearomative rearrangement

Abstract: A regiodivergent transition metal-free approach towards sulfones [(E)-allylic sulfones and α-sulfonylmethyl styrenes] is reported. Solvents and temperature play a key role in the selectivity of the reaction.
